The Chugiak-Eagle River Senior Center exists to provide quality services and facilities to meet the needs of seniors in our community through effective stewardship and program development.
Chugiak-Eagle River Senior Center has provided programs and services to seniors living in the Chugiak - Eagle River area for over thirty-five years. Starting out in a small community building, today our facility is over 100,000 square feet. We currently have 83 housing units, which include 20 assisted living apartments, 20 HUD low-income senior apartments and 43 independent living senior apartments. In addition to housing, we offer low cost transportation, Meals-on-Wheels, a nutrition program and an adult day services program. The center also provides a place for seniors to meet, socialize and enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle. We provide facilities for community groups as well as catering services.
