Acerca de
Rogers Center is home to the longest-standing environmental education facility and programming in New York. With green space and pavilions, outdoor grills and picnic tables, 600 acres and 7 miles of trails, Rogers Center is a beloved community resource for the region.
Friends of Rogers also host four seasonal events for the community: Winter Living Celebration; Earth Day; Get Outdoors, Get Together Day, and Animals of Halloween.
Volunteering at Rogers Center offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature, contribute to environmental education, and make a lasting impact on our community. There’s a place for you here.
Gardening and Planting Volunteers: Help us make Pollination Creation Stations as part of our Great Pollinator Project or relocate native plants.
Trail Volunteers: From trimming back branches to digging out beaver dams, self-starters excel in this position, and you know your work will be appreciated.
Event Volunteers: Events like the Winter Living Celebration and Animals of Halloween are simply not possible without our volunteers.
Education Volunteers: If you enjoy working with children and sharing your love of nature, consider becoming an education volunteer at Rogers Center. You don’t need to be an expert; you do need to have a curious mind, a positive mindset, and compassion for learners of all abilities.
