The Tent Foundation was launched in 2015 by Hamdi Ulukaya, the Founder and CEO of Chobani, to address the global refugee crisis. Tent was founded with the belief that no one set of actors can solve an issue of this magnitude on their own. Central to Tent’s mission is the Tent Partnership for Refugees, a network of more than 70 companies that identify and work together to implement new solutions to address the refugee crisis. In addition, Tent provides grant funding to organizations that deliver direct services to the globally displaced, and commissions’ original research.
