Oakland Bloom is an immigrant and diaspora led organization dedicated to advancing economic justice, by supporting individual & collective ownership and neighborhood resilience with working-class migrant/BIPOC chefs and communities.

Launched in 2015, Oakland Bloom’s work began with its dedication to working with immigrant, refugee and newcomer chefs interested in launching their own food businesses. Throughout its evolution, Oakland Bloom has been committed to developing accessible opportunities, advancing equity and supporting chef self-determination
