Our mission is to prevent sexual abuse and exploitation of children, to provide a safe welcoming and supportive haven for young sexually abused youth confronted with the multiple challenges in our communities. To empower & promote healthy relationships, educational development, prevention, family values, financial responsibilities, wellness and spirituality. To encourage youth who are being exploited to “Please Tell.”
Sexual abuse and exploitation is a growing epidemic among our children, it does not discriminate, it effects youth of all ages (1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys), all ethnic and economic backgrounds commonly between the ages of 10-15 not excluding those 16-18. We offer ongoing workshops and activities’ that educate and strengthen the entire family at varies location throughout the Atlanta Metro area. Delivered Vessels, Inc.’s goal is to foster a commitment to young people that will promote strong interpersonal/life skills, reassert a sense of hope, and empower them to be independent individuals, on a positive path to adulthood with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
Currently Delivered Vessels our parent organization provides a supportive community that encourages young people to make decisions that positively affect their lives and prepare them for the future. “I Am: Girl Talk and Brother to Brother Mentoring Programs were designed to evoke change and advocate for youth... developed as a youth awareness, prevention, education program to teach and empower young girls and boys about healthy relationships, character development, building self-esteem, personal hygiene, etiquette, understanding the realities and consequences of unsafe choices. An open place for them to express their concerns and have dialogue about their day-to-day issues they are confronted with. We encourage youth to take a closer look at themselves, and motivate them to be proactive in “looking out” for their friends who may be engaging in unsafe behaviors.
