KIDS COUNT is designed to be a safe, nurturing place for children to come for care after their regular school day has ended. The program is housed at Northeast Elementary School in Ithaca NY and officially opened on September 8, 2004. KIDS COUNT is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation, licensed by The New York State Office of Children and Family Services. The program is dedicated to providing age-appropriate care to children in grades K-5, including both recreational and educational components in a safe and nurturing environment.
