Washington Women in Public Relations is a professional organization for women in the public relations field. During the 20 plus years since its inception, WWPR has grown to hundreds of members sharing job-related interests, opportunities, and experiences with fellow professionals.
The Pro-Bono Committee of Washington Women in Public Relations selects a non-profit each year in the DC area and provide communications and fundraising services to them. In addition, we choose a non-profit organization that focuses on the development of women and families. Our client for 2005 is Safe Shores - the D.C. Children's Advocacy Center.
