Puentes de Cristo is part of the Presbyterian Border Ministries, a partnership between the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the National Presbyterian Church of Mexico (INPM). Our mission is to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ in a holistic manner by working as partners to attend to the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of the people, with special emphasis on the poorest of the poor in the dynamic border communities of Tamaulipas, Mexico.
Our goals are:
To share the Good News of Jesus Christ through outreach to the community.
To support self-sufficient programs directed by local leaders that enable the poor to live with dignity and hope.
To facilitate communication between two churches, two cultures and two nations.
