Misión
United Way fights for the education, income stability and basic needs for every person in our 10-parish region.
Acerca de
United Way relies on volunteers to make the most impact in the community. We have three main volunteer needs:
- Grant Application Reviewer - make a lasting change by reviewing applications, evaluating the impact and effectiveness of a program and creating a recommendation about United Way funding.
- Vello Volunteer - Vello is an innovative online tutoring program for students and volunteer tutors to connect and read books from a virtual library.
- Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) - help provide tax preparation and guidance to individuals and families during tax season.
