Inwood House

Inwood House helps young people take charge of their lives and become healthy and self-reliant adults. Established in 1830, Inwood House is a leader and innovator in teen pregnancy prevention, youth development and family support. We address all aspects of teenage pregnancy as it is the nexus to many critical issues related to child poverty. Each year, our services advance the development of thousands of underserved young people in New York City and New Jersey. All programs take an asset-building approach which helps our young people acquire knowledge, make responsible decisions and become a positive force in their communities.
