Acerca de

The Pan-American Agricultural School (EAP) is an international university based in Honduras, registered in Delaware, in the United States of America. It was founded in 1942 by Samuel Zemurray on the grounds of the former "El Zamorano" estate, which gives it its name. Zamorano generates knowledge to achieve more sustainable, resilient, and inclusive food systems. It has trained more than 9,500 leading professionals in the agricultural and environmental sectors in 35 countries. 30% of Zamorano's graduates have businesses that generate employment, and 12 Latin American and Caribbean countries have ministers who studied at the EAP. The Learn by Doing approach is one of the central pillars of Zamorano, forming professionals with technical skills and a proactive attitude towards practical and rigorous work. 7 out of 10 Zamorano students have a scholarship, contributing to facilitating access to high-quality higher education for young people with academic excellence and limited resources.
