Southern Piedmont Chapter of MDA

MDA's mission is find effective treatments and cures for over 40 different neuromuscular diseases. In addition to funding research, MDA helps those with neuromuscular diseases through direct services. Services include support groups, educational materials and conferences, home and school awareness visits, funding to help purchase and maintain wheelchairs, scooters, leg braces and communication devices, and a summer camp for youngsters.
