About Just Beginnings Collaborative (JBC)

Just Beginnings Collaborative (JBC) is a survivor-centered funding intermediary dedicated to eradicating Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) by resourcing survivor-led, community-driven, and non-carceral prevention strategies. We partner with philanthropy, movement leaders, and grassroots organizations to advance innovative, healing-centered approaches to safety and justice.

Our work is guided by Story, Source, and Strategy:

• Story: Shifting the narrative on CSA prevention from punishment to healing and collective care.
• Source: Mobilizing and redistributing resources to fund community-led safety strategies that prevent harm at its roots.
• Strategy: Strengthening the infrastructure of grassroots organizations working beyond punitive models to build long-term solutions.
