AnimaLovers

AnimaLovers is an all-volunteer organization that is based in the New York state capital region. Our primary function is to provide housing, veterinary care, and adoption for unwanted, abandoned, injured, or stray cats. During 2014, AnimaLovers found forever homes for over 400 cats in the greater capital region during 2014. In addition, we provided assistance with veterinary bills to over 10 senior citizens who could not afford services, and to over 8 individuals for cats with special medical needs.

AnimaLovers has over 25 volunteers who staff our PetSmart adoption center in East Greenbush six days a week for clinics. Volunteers are at the clinic throughout the week to visit the resident cats and move cats between our 24 volunteers who provide foster homes throughout the region.
