New Leaders Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and the leading training program for progressive young professionals. The program has graduated over 4,000 fellows from 48 chapters across the country. NLC fellows have gone on to run for and serve in public office, started innovative business and non-profits, and have become rising stars in their local communities and in the public policy arena.
The Portland chapter recently graduated their first class of fellows in 2017, and we are now looking for applicants for the 2018 NLC Institute that commences in January 2018. We are looking for individuals, typically 25-35, from diverse backgrounds and industries, with strong progressive values and leadership aptitude, who will apply NLC's trainings in their careers and lives. Apply by October 1 to become a NLC Fellow!
