Fishing Partnership Support Services

Fishing Partnership Support Services is a non-profit company that has been improving the health and well-being of commercial fishermen and their families since 1997.

Fishing is a billion-dollar industry here in New England, but it’s not one big company. Commercial fishermen are a collection of rugged individuals who don’t have corporate support or a Human Resources department working on their behalf.

The idea behind the Fishing Partnership emerged from the fishing industry itself. Local leaders joined together and agreed that even though their fisheries had different interests, they could all benefit from an organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of their families.

Fishing Partnership Support Services reaches the underserved fishing community, engages members through community health navigation and provides access to services, education, and advocacy. We bring value to our members and to our funders by enhancing member care and improving their health while reducing the associated costs.
