Reef Advocates

Reef Advocates is working to:

• Enhance the resilience of reef ecosystems against natural and human-related threats
• Expand awareness and scientific knowledge about reef ecosystems
• Promote citizen science for reef conservation

Reef Advocates is a nonprofit working to protect coral reefs around the world. Its core program is the INSIGHT Diver Network, which empowers the SCUBA diving community to conduct high quality citizen science for reef conservation.

We are building out an ecosystem of technologies to advance reef monitoring (data collection) and to accelerate the development and deployment of interventions to help save coral reefs.

Reef Advocates is a new U.S. nonprofit charitable organization that will be seeking tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
