Sports Donations For Impact (SD4I) is an NGO operating out of Granada, Nicaragua that provides an opportunity for at-risk youth to participate in organized sports programs. Throughout the country (2nd poorest in the Western Hemisphere) there are many underserved youth who subsuquently do not have the opportunities to engage in sports programs that are essential to all youths lives. Sports help youth develop into healthy adults by teaching them valuable life skills, such as daily exercise, responsibility, hard work, resiliancy and teamwork. Active and healthy youth are also more likely to be participating members of their own communities.
