Thermal Matrix USA, founded in 2005, is a not-for-profit corporation headquartered at the Young-Rainey STAR Center in Largo, Florida. The corporate mission is to develop and integrate technologies and assemble prototype systems to support the Department of Defense’s (DOD) force protection initiatives. Thermal Matrix is equally dedicated to supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) in their respective missions to provide the United States with increased security at the nation’s borders and seaports. As a not-for-profit, the approach is to collaborate with the military services, civil agencies, commercial entities and academia to combine the best available technologies to provide innovative solutions.
