CAT WELFARE ADVOCATES

We are here to help cats and the people who love them.

Established in 2017, we at Cat Welfare Advocates serve our community in San Jose, in the heart of Silicon Valley. Our focus is to help homeless cats and kittens by getting them the best care and finding them good homes and by promoting best practices with TNR and responsible community cat management. We do our best by our foster cats by providing the best veterinary services and by placing the cats in loving foster homes where they get the attention and time they need to recover and thrive. Our priority is to place each cat in our care in the best environment suited to the cat's personality and needs.

We are a volunteer-based network of cat lovers who envision a no-kill world in which every cat enjoys the good life, including the Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare*.

Our nonprofit organization takes cats in need from the streets and from city shelters and places them in foster homes and then adopts them to families who open their hearts and homes to a new family member. To find the love and security of a permanent home for our cats, we take the utmost care to ensure our feline friends are a good match for each family. We view the cats in our care, like the cats in our own homes, as FAMILY.
