Good Samaritan Health Center of Cobb

Our health center’s mission is “to spread the love of Christ by providing quality healthcare to those in need.” We serve as a medical home, providing easily accessible, affordable, and comprehensive, high-quality healthcare for many of our uninsured Cobb County neighbors. Our community and family-centered organization has greatly expanded the availability of essential primary care services (including medical, dental, dispensary and spiritual support) to our target population. Our 7500 square foot building includes the following: a medical wing (nine exam rooms, with a minor procedure room, lab, x-ray, conference/education room, a physician’s dispensary and 5 offices); a dental wing (6 dental operatories with a surgery suite, three offices, dental X-ray, sterilization room, and work areas) and two consultation rooms for dispensary and spiritual support services. We believe in implementing updated technology to help provide, track, and improve the quality of care, accountability and integrity to our patients and supporters. Our patients our 200% or below the federal poverty level and pay a small sliding scale fee for services and we look for 80% of our budget to come from generous donations in the community.
