The Education Foundation of Harris County is an independent not-for-profit organization whose focus is on the creation of extraordinary opportunities for all children in public K-12 schools by advancing excellence, and promoting innovation in public education. We work with the 26 independent school districts in the Houston / Harris County area, the Harris County Department of Education, and represent 700,000 students. We believe that education is the key to opportunity in our society, and that quality educational opportunities must be available for all children.
