Founded in 2018, Budding Artists was formed out of a response to create a pathway in attracting more students, specifically underrepresented ethnic groups and women, into Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields, utilizing the arts as a catalyst for change.
Our project objective is to provide transformative process-based art experiences to young children who live in under-resourced communities to prepare students for successful participation in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) programs during elementary school.
Budding Artists is a fiscally sponsored program of Fulcrum Arts, a registered 501(c)(3) public charity.
