The mission of Literacy Volunteers of Somerset County is to promote literacy in Somerset County and the surrounding communities through student-centered tutoring for adults.
Our mission is founded on the belief that the ability to read and comprehend at a functional level is fundamental to the quality of life, essential for the protection of individual freedom, and necessary for ensuring the equality of all people.
