Justice Necessary is a Colorado-based nonprofit dedicated to addressing the hidden crisis of hygiene poverty in our communities. This often overlooked issue, defined by the lack of access to basic hygiene essentials, diapers, period supplies, oral care and laundry detergent. Through our five pillars -- Awareness, Education, Community Engagement, Find Your Pantry, and Advocacy -- we deliver immediate relief while building sustainable, long-term solutions. By partnering with organizations, policymakers, and schools, we tackle this crisis through a collaborative, community-driven approach. We believe true change comes from working together to empower individuals to reach their full potential because access to hygiene just is necessary!

Our impact so far:

1. Distributed over 7 million hygiene products

• across Colorado
• Passed HB24-1164, ensuring free menstrual products to students in school restrooms
• Commissioned four statewide studies to better understand period poverty, diaper need, and hygiene access for students, women, and all 64 counties in Colorado
