The Umbrella enriches lives and builds a vibrant and inclusive community through the arts.
We promote creativity, learning, personal growth, and cultural exchange through accessible arts education programs, performing and visual arts presentations, and community collaborations.
The Umbrella has five core program areas: Arts Education, Arts & Environment, Performing Arts, Arts Gallery, and Studio Arts. The Umbrella has a permanent staff of 19, a professional theater company, and a roster of professional faculty offering classes and workshops for all ages, ranging from painting, drawing, and printmaking to ceramics and fiber arts, among many others.
