The Chester Community and Cultural Arts Center is an arts education and performance center being created in Chester, PA (20 minutes south of Philadelphia). The Center is a part of the area’s Revitalization Program; plans provide for a 15,000 square foot facility modeled on the replications of the Manchester Craftsman’s Guild in Pittsburgh (Bidwell Corp). The Center reflects the program requirements of “Chester Arts Alive”, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization comprised of a group of local arts organizations that will operate from the completed facility.
The Center will serve as a multi-purpose educational space for area schools and organizations as well as a professional performing art space for regional patrons.
