Autism Center for Empowerment, Advocacy, and Justice

For 58 years and counting, the Autism Society, including our nationwide network of affiliates, connects people to the resources they need through education, advocacy, support, information, and referral, and community programming.

People with Autism face an enormous amount of systemic barriers and discrimination in the criminal justice, healthcare, education, housing, and employment systems; far more than their non-Autistic peers. The Autism Society of America has laid the groundwork for establishing the Justice Center, a “first of its kind” national framework created to address injustices and inequities experienced by individuals with Autism while promoting their rights.
