To ensure the fundamental needs of babies and children in Ghana and other African countries are taken care of so that new mothers will have the peace of mind to care for their loved ones

It is estimated that about 45% of deaths of children under five are linked to poor hygiene and malnutrition (Black et al., 2008). Many faces poverty, disease and hunger. The basic essential right of a child getting clothed to stay warm is hard to come by for some. This has compelled Yamicare's organization to initiate a program aimed at providing the less-privileged mother's and children in Ghana with basic essentials needed to alleviate their sufferings.
