The Sustainability Centre

The Sustainability Centre aims to demonstrate,develop and promote knowledge,skills,technologies and lifestyles that improve peoples qualify of life without damaging the local and global environment. We offer a range of activities including courses, a schools programme, a volunteer programme and practical habitat management within our 55 acre grounds. We demonstrate environmentally sound technology such as our biomass boiler and solar panels and have an award winning eco-hostel on site. We also have various gardens, ponds and a weekend cafe. The centre is also home to a variety of green businesses including Permanent Publications and the South Downs Natural Burial Site.
