Barrier Breakers

MAIN OBJECTIVE: Barrier Breakers' projects are all aimed at able-bodied South Africans, as its main objective is to change their attitudes and perceptions to such an extent, that strong bridges are built between able-bodied and disabled persons of all ages.

MODUS OPERANDI: Inspirational presentations, mainly by people with physical disabilities, and fun-filled games which are tailor-made for different institutions/organizations and age-groups. The greatest demand is for our games. These are aimed at giving able-bodied people an opportunity to have a wheelchair experience in a non-threatening, playful environment.

FOCUS AREAS: Sensitization, Awareness, Education, Accessibility Assessments.

TARGET MARKETS: Children (pre-schools & schools) Students (technikons & universities) Employers, General Public (shopping malls & special events).
