Big Hearts Foundation

We help the middle class in former Soviet Union countries to increase animal welfare, stop abuse, create and maintain effective shelters. By helping animals we are helping people: education, medical care for injured and abused animals, social ads, neuter- and spay programs, dialogue with the government. We are 100% non-profit, have the most transparent accounting, and are active in 21 cities across Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan. Our neutering projects neuter approximately 500 animals per months. We have managed to become part of the committee in the Duma, advising them on animal law they are busy developing. Eight shelters have been started and developed with our help. The goal is to spread western style attitude and responsibility across the vast surfaces of Russia and surrounding Republics.
