Quinteto Latino's mission is to disrupt racial and economic disparities within the classical music field by championing past, present, and future contributions by Latino composers and musicians. Our purpose is to promote classical music by Latino and Latin American composers through performances, commissions, mentoring, and child and adult education. Our vision is to expand the boundaries of a classical music tradition, commonly perceived as predominantly Western-European, by centering equity and inclusion in all our work.
