William A Harrison Jr Foundation

The William A. Harrison Foundation addresses the unmet needs of the animal welfare community throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Through proceeds from our program, Furbish Thrift, in three years, we have donated almost $500,000 to Virginia animal care nonprofits, supporting causes such as spay/neuter, pet food pantries, medical care, trapping, rescue and adoptions among others. We distribute over 11,000 pounds of free pet food monthly. We have a program that addresses the needs of pet owners who are seniors living on fixed incomes and a scholarship fund for students pursuing their degrees as a veterinary technician.
