Mokah

Mokah is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides access to U.S. markets and capacity development to small and medium-sized Pakistani businesses that produce one-of-a-kind artisan crafts in an ethically responsible and sustainable manner. Mokah means opportunity in Urdu, and as such, the non-profit partners with Pakistani artisan enterprises to scale their marketing and distribution operations for global markets. A future for-profit retail outfit will provide a portal for these businesses and deliver Mokah’s mission to create opportunities for Pakistani artisans based on an economic development approach that works to improve cultural discovery and understanding between the two countries.
