The Folk Arts Council of St. Catharines Charter
(a) “To promote the preservation, development and advancement of the cultural and artistic heritage of the peoples of Canada, especially within the said City of St. Catharines and environs; “ (b) “To promote cultural and artistic activities of all kinds representative of the cultural backgrounds of the peoples of Canada to further better understanding among and appreciation of the lingual, racial and national groups which comprise the peoples of Canada; and (c) To further the cause of good inter-group relationships”
