Long Beach Forward

Long Beach Forward is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that builds community knowledge, leadership, and power with low-income communities of color to drive social change and advance the vision that Long Beach is a place where race and income do not determine one’s future, and everyone is safe, connected, and healthy. Established in 2010, Long Beach Forward has been rooted in the community since its beginning, serving as the hub organization for Building Healthy Communities: Long Beach over a decade ago. Today, Long Beach Forward collaborates with multiple community partners to provide leadership development, strategy, communications, and convening support for justice-driven coalitions, collaborative groups, and campaigns.
