The Alcove Center for Grieving Children and Families

The Alcove is a safe place where children and their families, who are grieving a death, can receive comfort and support through the healing process.

We provide activity based peer support groups for children and teens who are grieving the loss of a loved one through death. Groups are age appropriate, 3-6 yrs., 7-10 yrs., 11-14 yrs. and 15-18 yrs. There is also an adult group, for the parents/guardians that meets simultaneously with the children/teen's groups.
