ADER

ADER (Association for regional economic development) is a non-profit making association founded in 1994. The Association's objective is to fight against poverty and to support the social and economic development of developing countries. Through its activities, the Association attempts to promote long term development. ADER operates to help marginalized communities and needy populations, particularly in the following areas : • Improvement of housing conditions, notably through access to land ownership, the building of houses and the improvement of living conditions (water supply, power installations by solar energy supply etc.) • Setting up suitable credit plans aimed at promoting long term economic development initiatives and at improving people's living conditions. • Practical reorganisation of local life, that enables the population to organise itself, to have a voice, and to achieve the objectives defined within the projects. • Education and training, aimed at offering the local population an opportunity to acquire a sense of responsibility as well as professional skills.
