Combating poverty at grassroots level by providing rural women with micro credit loans and training to start their own small businesses and thus play an active role in the development of their community and achieve empowerment. Training ranges from small scale farming and animal husbandry techniques to book keeping and literacy. Other projects include HIV awareness and health programs in rural communities.
