MORDECAI CARE FOUNDATION OF NIGERIA

Mordecai Care Foundation of Nigeria in Osun State is a nonprofit that rescue vulnerable orphans for basic education, shelter, engaging them to acquire a skill of their choice via skills acquisition programs and empower women in marginalized communities through our skills acquisition programs.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES: Mordecai Care Foundation of Nigeria look to our grassroots to rescue vulnerable orphans’ children, our vision for the future children is as a strong for shelter, caring, connected to basic education from our orphanage “Mordecai Care Center [MCC-Home]”. Our identity includes our women empowerment, beliefs in cultural respects which we strive to incorporate into the programs and services offered to our communities and nation.

Where we focuses and reinforces the seven core programs align with our vision cornerstones as our strategic plan and in accordance with SDG’s, rescuing the vulnerable street orphans for shelter and education [ROVC] for the purpose of child protection in accordance with UN policy, women empowerment for life [WEL], campaign to stop gender based violence in both marginalized communities and cities [SGBV], secondary school student sensitization educative campaign [SSSS], rural intervention communities empowerment [RICE], skills acquisitions programs [SAP] and corrective institution for inmates reformation objectives [CIIRO]. All these are run concurrently every year for the beneficiaries and leave indelible mark on the track of humanitarian heart, as we monitor and evaluate our impacts all year round. 

MOCAFON advance, promote and support the efforts of other stakeholders involved in rescuing streets orphans, for shelter, feeding and basic quality education purposes, support the disenfranchised women, widows empowerment both in marginalized communities and cities with a strong advocate for the promotion of gender equality in our society.
