KNOWNprenuers is an entrepreneurial organization based in New Haven, CT. Our mission is to empower underrepresented and underinvested entrepreneurs in our pursuit of a more equitable and prosperous society. We are committed to bridging the wealth gap by offering comprehensive business training, facilitating access to customers and capital, providing personalized coaching, and extending essential community services. Beyond our direct support, we strive to cultivate a vibrant and collaborative entrepreneurial ecosystem by orchestrating and curating community-led events, fostering connection, growth, and innovation for a brighter tomorrow.

We achieve this through two core programs: the BIPOC Business Hub and the Growth Lab. The KNOWNpenuers BIPOC Business Hub creates strong and lasting connections for the BIPOC business community. It provides the connective tissue throughout the year by providing next-level networking, access to new customers, and a beautiful community space that supports business leaders in creating a foundation for success. 

The Growth Lab is an intensive learning program designed to propel BIPOC-owned business founders toward achieving and exceeding their goals. Through a comprehensive curriculum of training, mentoring, KPI presentations, and networking events, participants gain a 360 view of their business, community, and capacities. The program addresses the social and systemic barriers faced by Black and Latinx entrepreneurs by providing access to different types of capital, training on financials, budgeting, business plans, and productivity, and exposure to entrepreneurial support services.
