Inkanyezi GuideStar (Inkanyezi or iGuideStar) is an independent Civil Society Organisation (CSO) registered with the National Department of Social Development (registration number: 053-190-NPO) in terms of the Non Profit Act of 1997.
We have an ambitious vision “to create and operate an integrated & comprehensive Public Information Platform on civil society that will act as the first point of call for basic and comprehensive information on the sector”
We do this by providing free profiling of CSO’s and sharing the information via the web with all those who are interested to know more and do more about the sector.
Our primary aim is to promote the work of all categories of Civil Society Organisations to create greater public understanding of their work in order to understand the challenges, the opportunities, the gaps, success stories as well as identifying areas that are over serviced or under serviced.
