Misión
ElevateVoices is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers underrepresented individuals to advocate for themselves by amplifying their voices and providing the education and support they need to thrive. Our goal is to help underprivileged individuals elevate their stories through free public speaking and literacy workshops.
Acerca de
Through ElevateVoices, we design literacy toolkits and free public speaking workshops that make debate skills accessible to those in underserved areas. ElevateVoices has over 30 national and international partners, reaching more than 1000 people in multiple continents and raising more than $5,000 for initiatives promoting public speaking and teaching effective communication. Locally, these toolkits and workshops have reached Indian and Thai immigrant communities as well as low-income populations in rural areas in Virginia. ElevateVoices has expanded internationally to individuals in Rwanda, Peru, Kenya, and India. We are looking for motivated volunteers to teach classes, organize workshops, and join our team as a Chapter Head!
