We work with the Samburu tribe in the arid north of Kenya in eastern Africa helping the children of traditional nomadic families to go to school. We have 15 nomadic kindergartens and we have built dormitory facilities for the nomadic children at the elementary schools in the area (grades 1 to 8.) We also add considerable resources and supplies to these elementary schools to help improve the quality of education. And, we give the top performing students full scholarships to go to national high schools. Three quarters of our funding comes from individuals in the US who sponsor a preschool, or a student through high school, or a whole class of students at elementary school. We have grown from 130 students at school in 2002 to over 1,500 in 2015. The grades at school have improved by 50%. For the first time ever the community has children graduating from University. We are a 100% volunteer organization and all of our donations go to the children in Samburu
