FTC’S mission is to provide children and their families with quality educational, recreational and family support services that promote positive physical, social, emotional, cognitive growth, and development. FTC’s Motto is simple “A place where children come first”. FTC produces Three successful programs: The Osborne After school Program (OCASP) & Early Care in Education located at the Old Historic Osborne School serves a daily average of fifty nine (59) youth ages 3-12, the City of Lake Youth Empowerment Center located at the Osborne Community Center (YEC) in Lake Worth, Fl serves a daily average of sixty four (64) middle and high school youth and the Barton Community Beacon Center (BCBC) located at Barton Elementary School serves a daily average of two hundred six (206) youth ages 3-18. All programs operate year around Monday to Friday not inclusive of the Family and Community Building Zone where we offer computer literacy/repair, English, and parenting classes, assistant with job search/application and cash assistant application. We offer monthly/quarterly educational support services to address issues such first time home buyer, your finance matters, youth & gang, family bonding, referral to other service providers and family and child interactive activities for the entire community.
