CEEJH Inc.

The Center for Engagement, Environmental Justice, and Health (CEEJH, Inc) is a new nonprofit focused on helping communities impacted by environmental, climate, and energy injustice with a focus on the Mid-Atlantic region, the Southeast, and other parts of the United States and beyond. CEEJH, Inc provides technical assistance and capacity building support to help impacted communities address environmental racism, environmental classism, oppression and related health inequities by following the 17 Principles of Environmental Justice and through INpowerment Science and Liberation Science. CEEJH, Inc continues the vision of Dr. Sacoby Wilson, one of the nation’s leading environmental justice researchers, scholars, and advocates to advance environmental, climate, and energy justice through service and the authentic engagement of local grassroots environmental justice organizations in community-centered, justice focused applied action-oriented solutions science. CEEJH is about dismantling racist systems, developing cross-sectoral partnerships, and demanding change to ensure that frontline and fenceline communities receive the recognitional, procedural, distributional, and restorative justice that they deserve.
