The Animal Cause, Inc.

The Animal Cause, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Christian animal welfare organization on a mission to save shelter animals and unite animal advocates to reform animal welfare. The Shepherd’s Ark is our flagship program, currently in project mode. It expands the mission to also stand in the gap for people experiencing homelessness, injustice, or crisis. Just as animals suffer from neglect and abandonment, many people in our communities suffer under broken systems—The Shepherd’s Ark seeks to carry both forward into safety, healing, and new life.

The Shepherds Ark is a Christ-centered ministry on a mission to build a sanctuary of hope and justice for both animals and people. We are a volunteer-based ministry dedicated to providing rescue, care, and advocacy for at-risk animals while also addressing the systemic injustice that leads to the destitution of both animals and people.
