Founded in 1999, The Center of Help/Centro de Ayuda (COH) is a non-profit community resource and referral centers working to assist immigrant Latino families in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County successfully integrate into the local community and U.S. society.

COH actively partners with the Organization of Hispanic-Latin Americans (OHLA) and other public and nonprofit groups in providing a range of services to clients.

COH’s neighborhood-based centers serve clients on a walk-in basis, helping them with on-the-spot advice or with referrals. From greatest to less-needed, COH provides:
- Translation and basic clerical services – needed by virtually everyone
- Obtaining medical help: MCHP (children’s insurance) referrals to health services, emergency health issues and help w. medical bills
- Advice on legal issues including the court system, law enforcement problems and legal procedures
- Financial management, debt payment and tax advice
- Immigration information, including visas, work permits and citizenship
- Help with drug, alcohol, domestic violence and sexual assault problems
- Mediation and conflict resolution – both legal and personal
- Housing advice and assistance
