International Emergency Drone Organisation

The International Emergency Drone Organisation (IEDO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the ethical, legal and professional application of drones across public safety use cases, and specifically in disasters and emergencies. It was founded incorporated in France in June 2018.

IEDO’s growing membership is mostly comprised of emergency responders from the fields of firefighting, police, humanitarian aid, and public health, with experience in drone operation.

IEDO members share a common goal to save more lives, faster, using drone technologies.

Principles of IEDO :

• IEDO does not operate with the intention to make profit; we pursue exclusively non-profit and charitable goals.
• IEDO is apolitical and independent; we are building a world-wide network of emergency drone experts without regard to national origin, race, religion, or political views.
• IEDO is technologically agnostic; we maintain an independence from specific drone manufacturers and commercial companies.
